i have a proplem while playing some games

i have a proplem which is annoying me for a while. while playing some games (all Fifa versions 12,13,14) and some other games. my screen turns to a patterned screen without a specific color and my sound crashes and the pc is not responding to my actions such as alt+tab or alt+f4 and i must restart the pc to be able to make it work again. please help

gpu fault in all likelihood. try underclocking a little.

Id first take the side off your PC and make sure your heatsinks(CPU and GPU if you have one) arent all clogged with dust!
Sounds like overheating to me.

I would have thought heat, but normally it would throttle first. Memory not quite able to cope with it's speed is therefore what i'm thinking.

OP use afterburner or precision to slightly underclock the memory and core.

Throttling wont stop a heat crash if his fans are gunked up like i expect they are.
Im betting the PC has never been opened to clean them.
