Hey there guys, thanks for taking the time to read/reply to my question. Well a buddy of mine is setting me up with a budget rig and insisted I get an a10 7850 crossfored with the msi r7 250. I'm not sure if I should go with this though since I already have a 660 2g non ti. So my question is, would it be better to keep the crossfire, or just throw the 660 in it with the a10. I'm going to be modding skyrim and playing Diablo on highest settings

Have you bought it yet? If not you'd be better off without the APU where you have decent dedicated card. Get a FX-6300, an am3+ motherboard (970 or 990 chipset avoid the 960g) and use the 660. The 660 is faster than the a10 in dual graphics with the the 250.

You can not Crossfire Nvidia GPUs, Only SLI.
You have to have 2x AMD card for Crossfire.
2x Nvidia card for SLI too.
