I am fixing my brothers laptop. He gave it to me and it had the blue screen of death. I tried everything i knew to fix it but i couldnt, so I just bought a new HDD and installed it. So i put the os in the CD drive and booted to the Disk first. But when the windows is setting up it stops and the same spot it did before. I get the same stop error 0X0000007B. Another thing is that I can not get into the BIOS when I hit f10 it just goes black with a bunch of weird symbols. I am not super tech savy , but have a little background. I cant figure it out, i also moved the ram around to see if one of the slots was dead but its not the ram either.
