Title says it all.
Switched to an ASUS DirectCU 2 OC R9 290 from a EVGA GTX 660Ti 3GB SC+

System Specs:
Gigabyte GA-Z77-D3H
Core i5 3570k
2x4GB Mushkin Enhanced 1666 DDR3
1x 2TB Seagate SATA6
1x3TB Seagate SATA6
1x500GB Plextor M5 Pro SSD
1x Corsair TX850 v2

I run a couple of USB things such as my A50 wireless transmitter, have my kindle plugged in, an xbox 360 controller usually as well. I don't see how it could by my PSU but...I'm at a loss as to where to go or what to do.

Uninstalled the previous 660 Ti drivers, disabled the 660Ti in Device Mgr. disabled the Intel HD 4000 in device mgr. Everything is seated correctly, and firmly. When the PCI-E power cables are plugged into the 290 I receive two green lights for both the 6-pin and the 8-pin...what...the...fuck???

Booted into integrated graphics with one power cable installed (6pin and then 8pin) and cpuz still doesn't even recognize the card...perhaps it's DOA even though both pin connectors on the card light green?
