Before installing latest Java, computer worked. Now all browsers are gone and I can't get into the internet. What can i do?

A program, P C Maximizer, which I did not install, came on after the Java install. It was uninstalled immediately. Under home, no browsers were even listed, not even google which I had been using. A crazy, nonsensical ,very long address was the only browser listed under home. It won't erase or delete.

You did install PC Maximizer. You have to be very careful what you actually click on when you install Java from a link. Go into control Panel Programs and Features and uninstall it.
