Hi guys, I build a PC 2 years ago and it was running game fine then but i'm experiencing lots of issues now.. it won't run game on high settings (diablo 3, bad company 2, skyrim, ect) not the most performing game. My brother pc has less good spec but runs everything fine, could anyone help me?

Windows 7
Processor : AMD FX(tm) - 4100 Quad-Core Processor (4 Cpus) 3.6ghz RAM
16 Go of RAM
AMD Radeon HD 7800 Series

Any help would be appreciated.. computer heat up around 50 celsius while gaming.

I gather its your cpu that's getting to 50C. That slows down things.

Clean out the cpu cooler.

Increase the cpu fan speed

Drop Vcore. What is it currently?

If non of that helps then remove and re-install the cpu cooler. Clean the thermal paste off (with isopropyl alcohol) and put new paste (Arctic Silver) on - just a pea sized drop. Google how to do it.

If that doesn't fix it, then download and run HWInfo - Sensors and post the results - 3 screenshots on TinyPic or similar.

Sometimes its motherboard or power supply problems that results in high Vcore and overheating.

Being slow might also be from faulty ram. Download and use memtest to check it. Follow the instructions to do so.

Post your whole build in detail. Every component - make and model, plus OS - per forum guidelines.

Drop Vcore - its reaching a max of 1.413V at 3700MHz. Drop it by 0.1V and see if that makes the temps drop.
Read your mobo manual. You haven't posted your build so I don't know your motherboard. Use the mobo UEFI if it has one. Most less than 2 yo will have UEFI.

Also I suggest getting a new cooler. The stock ones are marginal and anything like this can set temps off like you've got. Try a Coolermaster Hyper 212 evo ($30).

I think you need to re-seat your cooler anyway - remove, clean off thermal paste with isopropyl alcohol, put a pea size drop of Arctic Silver paste on and put the cooler back. Google how to do it. The new cooler will come with instructions.
