Hello I have a GA-F2A55M-HD2 motherboard with a AMD A4 4000 Dual core processor, with 8 GBs of RAM. After I received all the parts and assembled them into the case, it turned on and I went into BIOS setup. There while reading the steps for the BIOS it shuts off. Randomly. Now I am unable to turn it back on again. It will light up for a brief moment then quickly shuts off. Any suggestions?

1) Make sure which version MB you got, there are three of them rev1.0 , 1.2 , and 3.0. If you have the 3.0 version you don't need update the BIOS, if you had the 1.0 or 1.2 version then you need to update the BIOS to at least F4 version bios to use the A4 4000. http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=4807#

2) You can clear the CMOS by removing the battery. Check your motherboard manual or check the link http://pcsupport.about.com/od/fixtheproblem/tp/clearcmos.htm After that you should be able to boot the PC again.
