Can i use my old router to wirelessly connect with my new one so that i can hard-wire my devices from the old router.

My new router is around the middle of my house and i want to connect my pc to the internet but my pc is in my room.(I also wish to hardwire other devices such as PS3, Xbox, TV)

Is it possible or should i buy some new hardware?

Yes it may be possible. Tell us what brand and models the two routers in question are.

The main router that is giving out wifi is a netcomm wireless NB16WV and the old router which i intend to use is a Thomson TG782T

if you just want to connect your pc to internet than the best solution is to buy a wireless usb adapter which can wirelessly connect to your router.
