Give me your opinion on this build. I think it's a nice all around build including overclocking capabilities and good enough fps to play games on medium-high settings on 1080p resolution with FPS higher than 40, and also fast boot times and fast for general use (putting the OS in the SSD).

Is this a good all around computer?
My main use for it is general speedy surfing and loading times, and decent fps for gaming.

BTW: I was told that the PSU is too cheap but it's only because it has a $25 mail-in-rebate and a $10 promo

Looks good but if you don't really need the ssd you could get a 280(x) or even a 770. Also you could get a cheaper motherboard such as the 970(that can still oc your cpu well) and get a better gpu.

PSU is fine. It just happens that the US get a nice deal on the XFX 550 including mail rebates.
You better get one incase it runs out of stock. Production is decreasing as there is a new series coming out to replace it soon.

R9 270 is faster than a GTX 750Ti

Nice build but I would suggest to get rid of the ssd you could get an even better gpu

Yes that is an option but it will depend on the OP's decision on whether to give up the SSD for a better gpu or not. I not saying the gpu upgrade is bad but the SSD is a nice to have for booting up the OS and snappy OS.

I WOULD give up the SSD, but I just want a fast pc and a decent gpu that will give me more than 40fps on medium to high settings at 1080p resolution. I'm not sure about the FX 8320, but I'll think about it in the future. For now, I'm not really an enthusiast looking for ultra graphics, I just want it to be playable while keeping a good amount of textures for multiplayer such as BF4, COD:Ghosts, etc. 40 fps will be enough to satisfy me until I later in the future decide to upgrade. As far as price:performance ratio goes, should the next gpu upgrade be from NVidia or AMD? Which GPU would you choose? Thanks! :D

Can you search benchmarks for that GPU? I can't seem to find any..

EDIT: WAIT, I lied lol, found it! seems like a solid gpu, mhmm might consider it
