I'm looking to buy a new graphics card as sadly I cannot afford a whole new PC. Currently I have a Radeon 5770 in my PC and I have a 460w power supply. I am looking to spend around 100-150 at max as I feel a new card will be the best upgrade to my PC to increase its life span until I can afford a new one. Thanks for any suggestions!

Thank you very much, based on what I have obviously, is it worth it to upgrade the card or should I really just wait all together and tough it out for another year(Bills are poop)?

Do you need the gaming performance now? I would consider really a new system to build rather than upgrading on a prebuilt system. The motherboard is mostly likely BIOS locked, this can limit to what gpu upgrade you can get as some gpu won't work with the motherboard unless a BIOS update. The case is not really ideal.

I second the option of building a new computer later on. With the system right now, if you're planning on playing the newer games, then i can understand the urge to have an immediate relief of graphics. But speaking from experience, i remember doing that one time. And it's easier to save and build later on than it is to just spend this much on a card for a short term thing, if you plan on upgrading the whole system in the future.
