I recently had a Bit coin Mining virus on my computer and I'm not quite sure if the virus is gone. I don't think my PCs performance has been affected but the task manager shows the system idle process as being unknown about it priority. I think it may be a virus that turns itself off when CPU load is increased or I'm just being stupid, any help would be great.

Here is a screen shot of the task manager.

The same shows in standard windows 7 task manager, this is just in my TuneUp Utilities 2014 software. The CPU load can Vary from 8% or less all the way up to 98%.
I use a GTX 770 and a i5 3470 and windows 7.

Try Malwarebytes and if that doesn't find anything do a check for rootkits. Sophos have a free anti-rootkit utility.

Best thing to do is keep a backup hard drive so if something really messes with your system you can just swap the drive, format the virus laden one and copy it over again with driveclone pro.
