Hello, recently my computer turned off unexpectedly and ever since I haven't been able to get either of my graphics cards to work. I had a 7950 in the top PCIE 3.0 x16 and a 7870 tahiti in the bottom PCIE 2.0 x4. My system was running fine, until I decided to use both cards for mining simultaneously. My power supply is a Corsair TX650m and is enough to power both of the cards, but it only has 2 6+2 pin cables. So I used a pair of single molex to 6 pin adapters for the cards.

The 7870 DID work in the bottom slot, before I removed it and tried the 7950 in the bottom slot. Now the 7870 wont work in either slot.

Currently: The 7870 has no response in either of the pcie x16 slots, not detected by the computer, fan does not spin. The 7950 fans will spin in the top slot, but it is still not detected by the computer.

Unfortunately I don't have another gpu to try in the pcie slots, nor do I have another slot to try the gpus in. Any help determining the problem would be greatly appreciated. Until then, Intel hd 4000 for me :(

Looks like either PSU problem or dead card. Have you tried putting your card to another pc? Or try another PSU?
