Which card is best for 1080p gaming for the next 2-3 years? R9 280x or gtx 770?

I currently have a gtx 750ti. Will i see a significant diffrence in performance from it to the cards in question? I have never used amd before, is physx compatible with amd cards? I have no idea!

Solution
physx only works best on Nvidia. Personally it is not a feature which wins me over. Whilst it seems nice it is not necessary.
R9 280X is better due to 3GB VRAM which games are now requiring 3GB VRAM for ultra settings.
Yes you would see a difference with either card.

i say get the 770 it will get the job done @ 1080p just fine for the next year or two, you may have to turn down AA if you are going to play on high/ultra. But when it becomes an issue pick up a second card (they should be cheap by then) and you will be god to go.

The 280x and 770 are very close, it just depends on the game. and you are talking about a 5fps difference.

BF4 uses around 2gb of Vram. skyrim all modded out will still run just fine on a 770.

my laptop has a 770M, i play skyrim maxed out with 46 mods, and guess what.. it plays just fine.
