Frequent Graphic Driver and Windows Crash

Hey,

I just bought a new Samsung 840 EVO 250gb SSD and was motivated to install it. So, I decided to clean up my case and everything before the beauty arrives. I do everything, replug everything, install the SSD, install Windows. Everything works just fine.

Except for crashes. I keep getting Graphic Driver crashes and windows kernel power crashes but no BSOD. At first I thought it was my SSD, so I installed everything back to my HDD, but after a restart, it crashed again in the same way.

My problem here is that I already asked for a RMA number from the company that sold me the SSD and I think now the SSD might not be the cause of the crashes. How can I tell which part of my hardware is failing me? For me it seems like it's PSU related and it would make sense since it's the cheapest part of the lot. But it could also be GPU related, in which case it would hurt.

Could you guys help me figuring this out?

Thank you.

The error I get is this one : Display driver nvlddmkm stopped responding and has successfully recovered

I made a quick google research and found out my PCI-E power options were on " Maximum Energy Saving ", that may have caused the problems. I'm testing right now.

i would do the test by removing the gpu from the sytem and the hdd also 1 ram module then use the onboard with the ssd as os and boot system .
