GOOD DAY sir/mam!!!

for those concern..THANKS!!!...

just wanna ask regarding my Laptop..Lenovo G450

Intel Core 2 Duo T6600 2.2Ghz
2Gb DDR3 1066Mhz
GeForce G 210M

i was wondering if a DDR3 1333Mhz Laptop Memory will work on this Laptop..

because when i search for a full specification of this Laptop..i have read that..it supports

only DDR3 1066Mhz..and up to 4Gb only..the question is...

will a 2Gb DDR3 1333Mhz work in pair with the stock DDR3 1066mhz?...

Thanks in advance!!!..i really wanted to upgrade my Memory but i need to be sure

before buying..THANKS again!...

G'day Mate,.Its no biggee, if you have ddr3 1066 and add ddr3 1333 the whole lot will run at 1066 speed.
The board will do a quick check and run all timings at the lowest denominators.
Does that help? Strewth, the Shrimps are burnin. .

You can do this but it will bottleneck the RAM you currently have so you will have more slower RAM. It's not a big issue.

It will slow down the RAM you already have. The RAM can only run as fast as the slowest RAM you have in it. It will all run at 1333Mhz.

first off, please ignore my learNed friend Keeno, its still friday night in some places.
Obviously, putting 1333 ram in wont 'bottleneck' your 1066 ram, the 1333 is higher density later tech
hardware and the motherboard will slow it down to 1066 so it can run with the old stuff.
You cant lose.
BTW I think he is Totalled.
