hi guys, i have this old but working pc here, very clean inside. BUT: i turned it on this morning - hdd vibrates, cpu fans turn on, cd drive lights up but my monitor goes to sleep... it does not display anything at all just not detected monitor going to sleep.

i tried: cleaning the ram, swap the hdd from another pc that im using now, reconnected all the wires of the psu. stil nothing... any advice on this that i could try to do?

monitor has no issue... used it and 2 other cables and its working... the cpu is an apu and has no dedicated graphics card. the vga output is built in on the asrock motherboard...

i have now been able to open the cpu with the display. i think it was the ram. cleaned it and placed it on the other slot.

cpu: core 2 dua (idk the speed since i cant open it)
mobo: some sort of gigabyte ddr2 with those flat cables for the dvd at floppy disk but with sata2
ram: 1x2gb ddr2
psu: 660w autech
gpu: none
hdd: 160gb seagate (i check this hdd as a slave in my rig - says no bad sector or error and i opened all the files, partitioned in 2, but i cant seem to make it start up in the other pc. keeps restarting or windows fails to load.)

im now having trouble opening windows since it keeps failing to load even if i opened the hdd in my other pc and scanned it with no bad sectors... :/
