I really dont think you guys understand. I cant use "my computer" I have no operating system. I cant get past the windows 7 instalation because I have "no connected hard drive"

It could be that you have a dead drive. Though rare it's possible that is the problem. One way to test it is to connect it as an external drive on another computer and see if it is recognized there. You wouldn't have to buy and external enclosure as you could test with a SATA to USB cable. If the drive is recognized on another computer you could try formatting it and then reinstalling it and trying again.

I understand. If another drive is working than it is probably a defective drive but make sure before returning it to look at a video on how to install your drive, might be there is a possibility that you are installing it wrong. Also try plugging it in from a different sata port on your motherboard maybe the port is defective.

No it should be directly under the boot devices in bios. Can you send picture of the cables plugged into your drive. It is most likely the drive is defective but want to make sure before returning. Don't want to buy a new drive and see it is not working for the same reason.

It is not a cable issue. I tried the barracuda seagate 500 gb and it worked fine till I got a 0xe0000428 error when instaling windows 7. How convenient right? I have a m5a99x asus motherboard.

Just like mickypheonix said, try the drive on a different pc. I have had a defective drive before, it happens. In the end you will likely have to buy a new drive.
