pc build compability?

Hi, I'm building a pc and I wanted to know if this specs work together:

CPU: AMD FX-6300

GPU: Sapphire R9 270 dual-x 2 GB DDR5

Motherboard: ASRock 970 Extreme3

RAM: CORSAIR PC3-12800 1600MHZ 8GB VENGEANCE CL9 (2X4GB) DDR3

PSU: XFX TS Series 550W 80PLUS Bronze

i have a 970 extreme3 and i haven't needed a bios update or anything to get my stuff working. that i remember at least. I might have updated it a while after cpu installation maybe. You can ask ASRock's support to confirm maybe.

If you do need a bios update, then you'd need a cpu that you can use which is supported by the motherboard, and the file to update the bios on a flash drive or something. Go into the bios and flash the bios up to date.
