Hello all,
Having a problem with an XP machine. When I try to boot, I get the issue Missing or Corrupt hal.dll file.
I booted onto XP disc, then recovery mode, and typed in
expand h:\i386\hal.dl_ c:\windows\system32\
then y to overwrite file, but still having the same problem
I then tried renaming hal.dll to hal,old in System32, and then expanding hal,dl_ from the disk onto the computer, but still, to no avail...
Any help appreciated
