Brand new GTX 760 installed to my system (see below for specs). Fans spin on the GTX but there is no picture displayed. System beeps while booting and motherboard shows 2b as the post code (can't find this code in DFIs manual).

Motherboard: DFI DK X48 T2RSB Plus
Video Card: eVGA GTX 760 (previously Radeon HD 4870)
PS: Corsair HX620 620 Watt (50A on 12v rail)
Two HDD with SSD as main OS drive
8 GB Ram

Video card is installed and seated correctly. Using the correct 6-pin and 6+2 pin power supplies into the card.

Make sure you plug in the monitor cable from the gpu output to the monitor.

The monitor is plugged in both ways. The post code beeps sound like 1 long 2 short... wondering if card is dead? Also I saw that the mobo uses the award bios (last bios revision in 2008) not sure if that bios supports the UEFI VGA booting or not. I'm not too familiar with that setup.

Well i not sure if you able to update your BIOS.
the 1 long and 2 short means a video error has occurred and the BIOS cannot initialize the video screen to display any additional information.
Try this some troubleshooting:

There wasn't anything on there that helped. Anyone else have other ideas?

No on board integrated graphics. I'm going to try to update the BIOS (UEFI came out in 2007 and bios is from 2008...).

Just coming back to reply. Works fine after BIOS update. Not sure why (change log wasn't very helpful, indicated update was for RAM fix).
