Z97 vs Z87??

What is the difference between this two??
I was planning a build with the Z87,but then Z97 came out,so i don'te really know what to do.
i'm planning a computer gaming,some editing,nothing special
And i was wondering what brand choose,MSI,Asus or Gigabyte

i mean,if the difference will be the next haswell and broadwell compatibility and faster storage system,if i change cpu,will it be better or not? i heard people that said that the difference was only in faster storage system so it wasn't indispensable to spend extra money to get a MoBo that will be the same for most thing as the z87 version

Do you think they're any good? I know it's tough to say now, because they are so new, but as far as capability and value, are they good? Some reviews say they are "meh" for overclocking unless you get the more expensive Gaming 7... I like MSI, although this will be my first build, something about them I like. Are there other Z97s you think would be better in the 150-190 range? (USD or CAD)

Most important to me are a LAN built in, which may be in all mobos (I'm a noob), a good sound card, and very reliable and capable, and good future upgrade potential, like Broadwell CPUs.
