Hi guys, I just installed windows 7 pro on my old desktop (which had windows xp on it) but i have an issue now: i cant connect to internet, when i plug in the cable into my router nothing happens. The leds on the router stay off, while the one on the pc turns on.
The motherboard is an ASUS P5LO2 SE .
I tried to look for the drivers for windows 7 but i couldnt find anything. Can you help me?
Thanks a lot :)

Damn, i misclicked "choose as answer"! how do i remove it?

Anyway, i have no Network adapter section in the control panel, and the latest LAN drivers are from windows XP...

Now, i may be saying stupid things, but if i get a new network adapter instead of using the motherboard's one, would it fix the problem?

That would be incorrect. Just because Asus doesn't offer the drivers doesn't mean the board doesn't support it. The Board uses a 945g chipset which is supported by windows 7. You just have to get creative to get the drivers. The chipset driver can be downloaded from Intel(https://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&DwnldID=10884&lang=eng&OSVersion=Windows%207%20(64-bit)*&DownloadType=%0A%09%09%09%09%09%09%09Drivers%0A%09%09%09%09%09%09).
The network driver from Realtek(http://www.realtek.com.tw/Downloads/downloadsView.aspx?Langid=1&PNid=13&PFid=5&Level=5&Conn=4&DownTypeID=3&GetDown=false)
