Hi there, I'm just wondering if my cpu gets close to tj max how much is this going to effect the life span of my cpu? And very occasionally when gaming it goes one or two degrees over the tj max.
Just want to make sure my cpu wont die within a couple of months.

Solution
I wouldn't want to make a habit of exceeding the TjMax, the CPU will protect itself to a degre by throttling back - is this happening with the CPU at stock or OCed, if OCed, my try lowering voltages or even consider cutting back on the CPU...if at stock, or even OCed, may want to consider a better cooling solution

CPU is at stock and i already have the best cooler that will fit in my case, i'm using h80i water cooler, I only have a small case so i think that's what is making my temps so high (on air my temps went into the 90's), I don't have the money for a new case and I've never refit a motherboard before so i would rather leave it, along as my current cpu will have a good couple of years i don't mind because i'm going to upgrade my cpu and get a new case etc. when i can afford it.
