Laptop Hdd is not getting detected neither in bios nor in windows

Solution
I am assuming you successfully managed to install Windows on the new hard drive and that your laptop is now working again.

To access data on the old hard drive you can buy a 2.5-inch external enclosure for it and plug that in to a USB port on the laptop. You should then after a few seconds see a new drive letter in 'My Computer'.
