So I have been playing Battlefield 4 for a few months and recently (actually I've only noticed it yesterday) I saw that I get perhaps 5%-10% boost in fps when changing video settings from low to ultra (ultra without both AA options & with post processing low) now I know those are the most FPS "eating" settings so that might have something to do with it but I don't recall having it before, the same way it is now.
Plus before if I had played on medium I'd never go below 60 fps, now even with low I'm dropping to 50~ in some areas. I bought and installed a new SSD 5 days ago and ever since I think I've had much more massive drops than before, the fps doesn't seem as stable (obviously i'm not saying the SSD is the issue it's just the last time I remember it working fine). When I was playing lets say a week ago I played on ultra without both AA options only and it never dropped below 48 and normally was 60-90.
It seems really strange to me that ever since it changed dramatically.
System specs:
Gigabyte r9 270x (overclocked core clock by 65mhz myself, I did test it with stock clocks too just to make sure).
i5 4670 (arctic freezer 7 rev 2 cooling).
Seasonic ECO 500W.
8gb Corsair XMS3 1333mhz CL9.
Gigabyte GA-H87M-HD3.
Samsung 840 EVO 120gb.
Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB.
Just to clarify:
Temps are fine with both GPU & CPU during playing.
Not running any other heavy programs in backround.
The GPU scores the way it should be in benchmarks & reaches it's max clocks during playing.
Current AMD driver I'm using is 13.12, I was using 14.4 non beta too and there was no difference. (before getting the SSD it was 14.4 beta)
Screen max: 1920X1080 60hz (that's also what I'm playing at)
