Why can't I run The Forest on minimum settings?

I have a laptop, my specs are:
Intel Core i5 2.5Ghz processor
GeForce GT 630M with 1gb dedicated VRAM GPU
4GB of RAM
Most websites say I should be able to run it on minimum settings at least, yet when I play it on that I get about 10FPS...Anyone know any solutions or whether I just can't run it? Thanks in advance.

You're cutting it close to the minimum requirements, try closing any other programs you have running in the background. Also to make games run faster when i played on my laptop i would always open task manager, find the task for the game and right click it then set it's priority to high, it always gave it a tiny boost.
