What should I upgrade in my PC?

I was looking to upgrade my PC for better games when I get the money.
Right now I'm still using my first PC build but I have gotten a lot more into gaming over the past year.

My build right now is
CPU - Intel i5-2500k
Mobo - ASRock H61M-HVS
GPU - ATI Radeon HD 6450
RAM - Corsair XMS3 1600mhz 8GB (2X4GB)
Storage - 1TB Seagate
PSU - 500 watt (unsure on brand)

I was thinking of getting a new case, maybe the Aerocool Strike-X GT but I don't really know what else to upgrade. I'm looking for a performance boost in my games.
I feel like my mobo isn't the best but I'm no expert.
Your input would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

If that is 200$ you can spend i'd suggest this upgrade

Asus Radeon R7 260X 2GB DirectCU II Video Card $139.99 @ Amazon
SeaSonic S12G 550W 80+ Gold Certified ATX Power Supply $69.99 @ Newegg

Forgot to add my budget, sorry. I'm planning on spending about 200 not including a new case.
I was thinking of the Radeon r7 240 2GB GPU, as I know that I won't be able to save and upgrade over time due to college.

The reason I want to swap my case is because my case right now is very small and I have a friend who is selling their barely touched case for 20 quid and it's the case I want so it's well worth it.

I actually ordered the r7 260x and a new motherboard the other day. I bought a different case, the MS800 plus, in the end as it was larger and had better cable management options and upgradability. I am planning on getting a nice, good modular PSU as well after my birthday thanks to everyone recommendations.

While I cannot put my build together until after my exams, I am thankful even now that I took what you guys said on board and bought the better GPU.

The motherboard I got was the Asus P8B75-V by the way. I got this for bout half price so it was worth it.

The problem with my old one is I wanted to overclock and also it had no USB 3.0 which is important to me because I do A LOT of transfering of data. That extra speed is important. I also realised the Asus P8B75-V cannot do overclocking on my board properly so was a little peeved when I figured though out.

I did get a decent GPU too. My budget went up slightly though so I decided to treat myself to the Motherboard too. However, yesterday I got a message saying how the motherboard could not be shipped to me and so the order was cancelled. I will be ordering a different one with a Corsair 600Watt Modular PSU. It again brings up my cost but I have borrowed a little bit of money off my Brother and I'm paying it back next week.
