ok for $1400 i would probably get an 15-4670k as a cpu, a gtx 780 for a video card and either go for a corsair psu or a seasonic one (EVGA is good for the money but nowhere near as good as corsair/ seasonic)...i would get a Western Digital hdd as Seagate is not as reliable, they tend to have the highest failure rates, you dont need to spend too much money on ram, trust me ramspeed and CAS do not matter for desktop environments (yea you might benefit 0.5 fps boost), just get some low profile corsair vengeance...and yeah, for nvidia cards EVGA Superclocked ACX is probably the best out there, better than MSI

If you are not going to overclock this will do fine. If you are going to OC replace the cpu with an i5-4670k

The only rthing I could recommend for your system is to save a few dollars on the video card. It's not necessary to spend so much to get good performance. For example, this card would do you nicely for about 50 less:
MSI R9 270X GAMING 2G

btw....do you plan on overclocking the cpu?...if not its worthless spending the extra few dollars on a 'k' series cpu
