Hey guys,
As of about 2 days ago my keyboard shortcuts alt-tab, ctrl-alt-del and alt-f4 are no longer responding on desktop or on any other program I have running. When I try to alt-tab out of chrome it brings up a prompt to submit feedback to google. On my desktop or any other program it simply does not respond. When on a text box if I press alt-tab it registers as the letters PO with my left alt-tab and registers as the letter M repeating when I press my right alt-tab making me think that it has something to do with the way alt is bound, but I am not sure.
I am on windows 8 and have not made any big updates or changes as far as I know. Someone suggested that I rebind the windows shortcuts on my keyboard (Razer Black Widow Ultimate)to the extra macro buttons which I have tried and had limited sucess. Ctrl alt del/alt f4 seem to work but alt-tab acts weird still. I am still able to use windows button shortcuts and the copy/paste short cuts but it seems anything with alt in it is either not functioning or behaving weirdly. Almost as if alt has been remapped to some other button. I live alone and have run anti-virus/malware so I do not think that is the case, but would explain some of the weird behavior. I have been researching this for a few days now to no avail. Thought I would check here to see if anyone has ever heard of this happening before. I know it is a small problem. Just obnoxious and something I would like to fix if I can.
