Hi everyone,

I experience intermittent crashes on my comp, and im not entirely sure what the source of the problem is, so i refer to you guys, who know a lot more on this stuff than me.

My GPU is AMD Radeon HD sapphire 7800 series.

The crashes starts with loss of signal to the screen (no flickering, no throttling), but normal sound continues for 10-30 seconds before i get a indiscernible stuttering sound. At this stage all i can do is turn it off at the on/off button, which still works. The times it crashed were when watching TV series and playing games (from doom to MW3). Modern Warfare 3 caused repeated crashes but a driver update stopped it and i no longer get crashes playing that game. Apart from MW3 the crashes are usually weeks apart.

I ran the OCCT GPU 3D test to see if it was overheating, but after an 20mins it hit 65C and stayed there for two more hours of testing, and had no issues. I ran the Hot CPU test to see if the issue was there but it never ran past 55C over two hours.

The rest of my comp:
CPU: Intel i7-3770 CPU @ 3.40GHz (8 CPUs), ~3.4GHz
MoBo: ASRock Z77 Extreme4
Cooler: Corsair H80i
PSU: Corsair TX750M

Any and all help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
