I installed ubuntu on a alienware x51 with windows 7 pre-installed that i bought off a friend (it was restored to factory settings) but now i cant get windows back and want linux gone.I cant do it from BIOS and i cant do it from windows so how do i remove EVERYTHING so its back at factory settings? I have tried a boot disc and that is not detected. I also downloaded a windows 7 installation disc (its Cracked) and that only boots in legacy mode

First restore your MBR, plenty of places online will explain how to do this. Then delete the extra partitions from Windows, again Google provides a useful service here. Finally either expand your windows partition to fill the space or create a new one and mount it as a new drive, again search for ways to do this. All in all this can be done in a few minutes (plus 5 or so minutes Googling uninstall Ubuntu).

when installing ubuntu did you use the whole hard drive option?
if yes you are completely doomed but follow these steps.
go to step 3 on the link above.
if it does not work you will need to install windows 7 from the begining.download and install drivers and activate them with the key that was included.there should be a sticker somewhere with the windows key.
