Basically iv got the case and the mother board that's it so far. Need some advise for the next bits.its going to be a high end pc by the end of it all I hope as money doesn't really matter atm............................... Case: bitfenix merc alpha :$80. Mobo: gigabyte g1 sniper m3:$242. Now I need to know what graphics cards the bomb and what ram power supply ect ect.thanks to all that help me out. I know it's all gunna be over kill for DAYZ but I'm a show off so I want really cool stuff that other people don't have lol.

Sorry, g1 sniper m3 is old hat.
LGA 1155 can, at most support a i5-3570K or i7-3770K.
Very good chips but nowhere near the upcoming i7-4790K and a z97 motherboard.
And... if those are us prices you paid too much for the mothergboard.

If you will be gaming on a single monitor, a GTX780ti is about as good as it comes. Yes, there are dual gpu cards, but they are not needed for a single monitor.
If you buy a quality psu, 650w or more will run any single gpu card.

What is the max resolution of the tv? and flat screen. is that LED or LCD? What is the megahertz? 60 or 120?

Also did you decide what CPU? Deciding on a CPU first would be better, so you can then decide what motherboard to get.

You will also want an aftermarket CPU cooler for sure, to keep the cpu cool when running higher end games.

For Intel, I know the 3770k & 4770k are both very popular. And work well. Also intel is slightly favored by many games currently made. The GTX 780ti is currently the "bomb" when iut comes to single gpus. The titan doesnt perform as well as the 780ti in games*from what I am hearing*

My rig, I went with the fx 8350 cpu, and I love it, but I am also waiting to save a little extra to get a 4770k and 780ti myself.

eVGA is the brand on my gtx 760 and the card is great, and so is their phone support. If I was you, I would look at the 4770k*

I think the Intel Core i7 4960X is supposed to be better, but I have not read up on it yet, so I dont know

GTX 780ti for a gpu.

For a mobo I would let others answer, as I am not very sure what mobos for intel are the best choice atm, since I been with amd for the past few years. But GTX 780ti is a must get. You can sli, but I prefer 1 solid card, unless doing some insane 6 screen set up, then sli may be needed

Ok I did some research on those items and I think I'm better off just buying stuff on the net because all though I love local business the prices really can't be justified in my eyes.... So the gtx 780ti is now the card on the list so thank you very much zn2012 for your input.. And as for my tv I have no idea is there a way to Chek lol. And I want i7 for future proof gaming

Most TV's will be 1080P or 1920 x 1080.
A GTX780ti will be as good as it gets for such a tv.
4k(3840 × 2160 TV's are here, but they are very expensive, and do not refresh at that resolution at high rates(60hz or more)
You will need at least the GTX780ti for that.

As to the cpu, we should see the i7-4790K launch next week. If availability is in your time frame, then that will be the best hands down. Otherwise, the i7-4770K is very close.

Any Z97 based motherboard will do the job.

Look for a quality 650w psu. Seasonic and xfx might be among the best.

Put together a shopping list and ask your local pc shop what can they do for you on price.
