UPDATE: So I just realized after putting my mobo under a small bit of stress that the VRM temperature is not the problem. My PC turned off without warning and I shortly after felt the VRM and CPU heatsinks and they were not very hot and definitely not a temperature at which my PC should turn off. My PSU was quite hot ( An XFX650W) so I guess it could be a problem with that
So actually the heat isn't even coming from the motherboard!
I wondered why you gave no BIOS M/B temperature readings? At All!
And getting all these suggestions to boot, and no one asked you what your VRM temperatures were that you were relating to?
This thread is hilarious! I needed that!
Sorry Bonglord, It's really not your fault no one asked you to clarify the temperatures the VRM were supposedly outputting?
