My CPU temp always get 65C at idle

I just build my rig about 4 months ago, at the beginning it's always show 35C at idle, i have clean the processor heat sink, use thermal paste and others, but now it's always 65C at idle, any solution?

my rig spec :
PSU : Corsair VS550
Motherboard : MSI 970A-G46
Proc : AMD Vishera FX 6300 Black Edition
VGA : Asus GTX650
Ram : 2x 2Gb Visipro

You might have put too much thermal paste. The heat sink might not be seated properly.The fan may not be plugged in.

I am guessing that you may have used too much thermal paste. Use just a tiny line in the middle that is the size of a cooked grain of rice.

Thanks for the suggestion, i already did just what you guys suggest, but it still be like that, well about the heatsink i already put properly, and the cable was plugged in and is this voltage secure?

It's possible that the sensors are not reading correctly. Otherwise I am out of ideas.

Well i have tried to use my old procie, that was Athlon II X2 64 3.3GHz, and my cpu temp was standing at 15c at idles, and 38c at load, is there any problem with my FX 6300?

Consider a cheap CPU cooling replacmenet such as the Hyper 212 Evo. If your problem persists, then the fault must not be the hardware.
