Hey, guys. I just built a new pc with Windows 8.1, an ASUS VG248QE monitor, and I'm using an ASUS GTX780-DC2OC-3GD5 video card. At night, I have my screen brightness set to zero, and I have an overhead light on in the room for ambient lighting, but the screen is still a bit too bright. It's not crazy bright, but it's too bright for my comfort level. Is there anything I can safely, easily, and cheaply do to make the screen brightness more comfortable without sacrificing picture quality or performance? Thanks for your help! =)

Thanks, k1114. The Nvidia control panel does help, but sadly, it is still a little too bright. Is there anything else I can do to make it darker? Is there a program I can download that will allow me to adjust the brightness even darker? More suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks! =)

led monitor is naturally more brighter than lcd,but you should use monitor buttons for settings and also ati catalyst/nvidia control panel monitor settings...
