Hey, guys. I just built a new pc with Windows 8.1, an ASUS VG248QE monitor, and I'm using an ASUS GTX780-DC2OC-3GD5 video card. At night, I have my screen brightness set to zero, and I have an overhead light on in the room for ambient lighting, but the screen is still a bit too bright. It's not crazy bright, but it's too bright for my comfort level. Is there anything I can safely, easily, and cheaply do to make the screen brightness more comfortable without sacrificing picture quality or performance? Thanks for your help! =)

If you shut down your pc, or put it to sleep, the monitor should enter a low power state and look dark.

Go into the nvidia control panel. Under adjust desktop color settings, select use nvidia settings and there's brightness controls.

Thanks, k1114. The Nvidia control panel does help, but sadly, it is still a little too bright. Is there anything else I can do to make it darker? Is there a program I can download that will allow me to adjust the brightness even darker? More suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks! =)
