I got the Razer Deathadder 2014 edition around Christmas of 2013 and there had been no problems up until last week. Every now and again, (sometimes 1st click, sometimes 5th,sometimes 3rd,etc.) my mouse will double left click. So I try to left click once and it randomly double clicks. I haven't dropped it or spilled anything on it, it just randomly appeared. Not sure what do do, I appreciate any and all feedback. Thanks.

Contact Razer and they'll have you jump through some hoops and you'll end up sending it back to them for a replacement. I've had two Razer mice and the same things has happened to both of them. Otherwise, I love their products.

Oh good.. Haha thanks for the reply, care to explain jumping through hoops? :p  I'm considering just buying a new mouse soon to be honest. If what you say is true and it has happened twice to you then I guess it's time to switch mice. I will contact Razer and see what they say. Thanks again.

I had to submit a claim, send a copy of my reciept from newegg to prove within the 3 year warranty and got some back and forth on emails. Didn't take too long, nor was it hard just jumping through hoops.

Hi,

Just solved this issue (not sure for how long). Opened the mouse and used a blower on the microswitch. There are two small holes on the left side of the microswitch (close to its base). On the other hand it could be quite easy to solder another microswitch with better indurance (20M clicks instead of 10M) (Omron D2FC-F-7N(20M) instead of D2FC-F-7N(10M).

I was doing that first fix for my nagas. After about 3 months of cleaning the switches, you have to start taking it apart each week :/

I read many topics about the successful procedure of "switching the switch". :)
