Hi, I'm a 13 year old and I'm wanting to build my own computer for casual gaming, I'm going to be playing mostly Minecraft and if not only. My age obviously limits my budget, right now I delever papers 2 times a week and get about 40$ a month.

Anyways, so my budget is nothing over 600$. I don't need a keyboard, mouse or monitor.
Keep in mind that I live in Canada so I don't want products from the UK and such.

This is a build that I came up with on memoryexpress.com which is a computer store in my area.

G.SKILL RipjawsX Series 4GB PC3-10666 Dual Channel DDR3 Kit (2 x 2GB)

WD 500GB Caviar Blue 7200rpm SATA III w/ 16MB Cache

Corsair Builder Series CX430 430W Power Supply

AMD A10-6800K APU, Black Edition 4.1GHz w/ 4MB Cache

Microsoft Windows 8.1 64-bit - OEM

MSI A78M-E35 w/ DDR3 1866, 7.1 Audio Gigabit LAN, PCI-E X16

Cooler Master Elite 371 Case w/ USB 3.0, Black

Thanks in advance :)

Use PCPartpicker to spec the components and price them for your country (Canada?) That way we can see the prices for each component.

In general I feel that only the low-end machines should get AMD processors, since Intel CPUs are almost always price/performance better than AMD, except for the low end where Intel does not compete.

Sad, I'd rather Intel have a viable competitor, but AMD is making it hard to recommend them. Look at Passmark for relative performance and find me the mid-high eange CPUs where AMD outperforms Intel.

Here is the BBCode for that part list, there is a button to let me copy it all and paste it here. :)

So it seems you're about 220-ish $ over your $550 target?

Not sure how you can drive the price any lower.

However, compare the Intel Core i3-4150 with your chosen AMD A10-6800K. ROughly the same price, but the Intel will outperform the AMD./ The integrated graphics on the AMD is rated at 791 vs 530 in the Intel. A cheap video card like this Radeon HD 6670 will outperform either one of those integrated CPUs by a fair margin. And if you look around, you may find a better value video card for under $100 still.
