corrosion inside of my brand new koolance rad

i just purchased a pair of koolance radiators a 120 and a 360 from frozencpu.com and when i look inside of the 360 through the in/out water ports i can see corrosion is that bad? and if so, how bad?

Define corrosion?

Or better yet post a picture of what you are seeing?

You do realize it's highly recommended to flush the radiators before putting them into service anyway, but there are various levels of corrosion some being actual dried left over flushing liquid that dried that Koolance did before shipping, (which is usually white).

Green corrosion however could be bad and left over from acid based solder flux in the manufacturing process, that can usually be cleaned out with a white vinegar flush?

Corrosion that is actually pitting the metal is extremely bad, but I don't see how that could be happening if the rads are new?

So what exactly are you seeing?

Corrosion is always bad and can badly reduce performance or kill your watercooling system if it's levels are high.
Are the rads supposed to be brand new or used? If brand new, i'd say return them

and yes, they are supposed to be brand new

there are green splotches on the inside. a little of it does have a whitish hue but MOST of what i am seeing is green splotches. im trying to get pics up now but its hard to get a good pic. will be posting what i can get shortly

i believe it is.

i have sent the pics to frozencpu.com and i am currently waiting for some confirmation on what exactly they are going to do about it..
i am tempted to send them to koolance as well and see what they say as well.
