I've got a GeForce GTX 650, and prior to this, my GPU was heating up, so I updated the drivers and it worked fine after a restart. I rebooted after a while (after switching off my pc), and there was a terrible lag/frame rate drop in games, and even videos had low frame rates. After turning the pc off and dusting out the chassis, things started working properly again. Later I turned it off, came back later, and booted it up. Same problem with the graphics. I restarted it, and it worked fine. I turned it off and came back later, and it had the same problems. WHY?!?!
