1st gen i5 vs 3rd gen i5

I have a LGA 1156 mono and an i3 530 , I am thinking of upgrading should I get a 1st gen i5 or get a new LGA 1155 mobo and get the i5 3570k

3rd gen i5 is what you want, over the years the power of the 2 more generations is much better, expect much better performance from the 3570k, and also that has the ability to be overclocked, making it another prime choice.
