I have IBM THINK PAD R 51 2887 mq5. I want o upgrade its RAM to 8 GB. But in specification it is mentioned that maximum 2 GB can be upgraded. How to upgrade it by any means to more than 5 GB as it is very much urgent for my programming. Kindly reply. Thanks.

As far as I can tell, the MB in that machine cannot support more then 2gigs of RAM. So there is no way to upgrade your RAM to 8gigs. Time for a new machine.
