K-Boost crashes PC?

Hey guys, I recently bought a GTX 780ti and discovered K-Boost within the EVGA Precision-X program. I'm told it's supposed to increase performance. When clicking K-Boost, my screen turns black for a couple of seconds, then the PC crashes and restarts by itself.

Does anyone know why this is happening/any potential fixes?

Thanks in advance, any help would be much appreciated.

Solution
Update the video driver!
Update all of the MOB's driver.
Flash your BIOS to the newest ver.
Update Windows.

Make sure your temps are fine.
You can use HWMonitor.

Also, check your temps in BIOS.

All K-Boost does is disable the auto throttle.
It is running the card at 100% speed. Not OCing.
The card will do that under load anyway.

Because it is running the card at 100% it is pulling full power.
Make sure your PSU can put out enough power to keep up with the card.
Check the PSU.
