- I bought new GTX 780 Ti Classified and i got 2 AMD 6950s... There are 2x 6 PCI-E cables connected to both of them..Images of them http://imgur.com/a/GGVQt#5qFDOdy

I cant remove the PCI cables!! IT wont just go out :D.. im using as much power as I can... I squeeze the clip and pull. it just doesnt want to go out :(... mby it welded itself???
Btw the PCI-E cables go all the way into PSU. But there arent any other power connectors for PCI-E. For GTx 780 Ti Classified I need 2x 8 PCI-E cables. Received them with Card. But I wont be able to connect them to power since there arent any other power cables. But someone told me that U can notice on the screens that there is additional thing on the cables its like 2 PCI so if I combine 2 + 6 PCI and connect to new GPU I have 8 PCI ?? Thus I wont use the ones i Received but it seems I cant anyway since I cant connect them to PSU ( correct me if im wrong but there isnt any other power cable )

Uhm I hope Corsair TX850 V2 is enough power for new GPU

- RAM. Currently I have Corsair 8GB (4x2) KIT DDR3 1600MHz CL9 Blue Vengeance Low profile.
http://www.alza.cz/EN/corsair-8gb-kit-ddr3-1600mhz-cl9-blue-vengeance-xmp-low-profile-d247112.htm

I bought the the same but by misstake not blue ( its black ) http://www.alza.cz/EN/corsair-8gb-kit-ddr3-1600mhz-cl9-vengeance-xmp-low-profile-d244505.htm
But the V and numbers 9-9-9-24 is the same. I hope that there isnt problem. My MOBO is Asus P8Z68-V so currently 2 blue slots are taken and 2 free. I tried to put one into black slot pushed it in on both sides all the way down but it didnt make the tick sound or how call it but It should make this sound as far as I know ??? And I cant lock the safe thingy ( dunno how it is called ) but when I try to push more it doesnt want to go and I dont want to use too much power im scared that I will break my mobo. Damn it :(

Solution

take the psu and gpu's out of the pc if possible,at least the gpu's so you don't do this with them in the pcie socket, also just take time and wiggle a bit try again over and over.

You could match colors for better looks=black ram in black slots etc.I think it will work fine for the rest, but like i7Baby says try and see.
The TX 850 will run the 780ti easily.

Nylon connector housings dry out and shrink with heat and age. Work out what you value more - the power supply or the 6950's

With the ram - just put it in and see.

You got a lot of aging problems - with your pc I mean. lol

If u mean by nylon connectors the current ones im using then they welded itself I guess. What u mean by what I value more? I cant really choose which PCI to use. I cant use the new ones I guess? Cant connect them to PSU as I said theres no connecting power cable. The current PCI 6 are connected somehow to PSU. Read again what I said above im not sure if u understand what I meant.
About RAM ill try to push in full force I guess... Cuz it doesnt want to fully sit in

Well I guess PSU??? since I got new GPU. I dont even know how to cut them. I will try to pull it out again somehow. But that would mean to cut the PCI. So if I cut it then how im supposed to power up the GTX 780 Ti???

- In screen u can see that current ones are in blue slots.. new ones i will put to black slots.. But doesnt want to go all in. Its like a bit above the current ones. Thus not fully in I guess since i cant lock them. Need more power?
- If I cut the PCI i wont be able to power my new GPU.... Why would I do it. And if I somehow manage to put out the PCI then I wont be able mby to use it? They might be damaged since they welded itself or smthing. And seems like their quality is fucked

-Ok finally installed GPU after 2+ hours... Managed to pull out the PCI cables and then pull them into new GPU.. both was rly difficult :(( yaay!
-But ofc cant get the RAM running. I tried to pull one in... Had issues, I was pushing rly hard and still nope. But then I was somehow able to lock the thing on top MANUALLY ( check screens I posted above if u dont know what I mean u can see my ram slots) heard that it must lock itself but I was able to do it manually... But when I started PC there was red light on my mobo ( indicating smthing with RAM ) PC was running but screen was black. So I removed RAM and now its working again.. I dont understand what to do. I think theres still somehow little gap and its not pushed in enough thus it dont work. rly flustrating. I didnt try to switch old one ( blue slot ) to black slot yet. Im scared that I wont be able to put it back then :(

Uhm mby dust.. Ill try to clean it tomorrow. And i can try to switch the slots also. Im just a bit scared u know :D.. If I pull the old ones from blue slots.. I might not be able to put any of them back. Since I have problem with the new ones. If I encounter this problem im pretty fucked.

OK GOT ALL WORKING NOW FINALLY YAAY!!!
-RAMS are working finally too!!! :) I tried to switch the old ones from blue slots to black slots. I locked them (manually). but still had red light. But I didnt give up. Pulled them out and again in. And I found out that I didnt push them enough in on down side(/bottom). So I pushed a lot and it got further in !!! The tricky part was that I was able to lock them even if down side wasnt fully pushed in ( had to lock them always manually). And now its working too!! Running on 16 GB now :p.
Btw I hope it doesnt reduce performance if u have instead of 8 GB 16 ??
And yea my thumb and forefinger are destroyed :DD
Thank you for help ( especially Vic40) <3
