How to access BIOS on ASUS Q550LF laptop(really fast POST (3 seconds))

Hey, everybody! I want to know how to access the BIOS on my ASUS Q550LF laptop running Windows 8.1. The POST time is REALLY fast (3.2-3.5 seconds). The reason I want to know is if some issue comes up and requires me to change some BIOS setting (e.g. boot order), I can get it done without messing my system up even more. No, my computer is not messed up. Thanks for the advice!

As soon as the laptop starts to power up, just start spamming the required key to access the bios.

If my monitors are cold I don't usually see the mobo post screen and that's how I do it

I believe it's F2. Check the screen when the motherboard post is up for a few seconds it will be written there somewhere (often lower right or left of the screen)

Usually the delete key. F12 for boot options.

go to the recovery menu for windows 8.

hold shift while you click on reboot, then itll give you options to boot your computer to advanced settings and then itll give you an option to do what you want.
its hectic, i know, but it works.

have you found a windows 8.1 fix for the hdmi audio?

Not yet. I think you need to change the output to HDMI.

Download the notebook manual, i have the same notebook, but i don't remember which key ot was, but i got it from the manual

Can most likely get all the MB drivers from the manufacturer's web site.

Just press F2 ... repeatedly; every Asus I've ever owned has been F2 to get into bios. That laptop boots fast indeed though roughly as soon as you power it up, so after you press the power button start mashing F2.
