My H100i isn't detected by my computer or Link, but it's working. The LED is not working, however, and that's what I'm trying to fix.

I've seen these "magical videos" about 0C04 regedit and it does not work for me. I've also seen these "magical unplug and replug" your h100i mobo header threads. That doesn't work either.
I've also tried Micro usb to USB and moved it around outside to all my USB ports. That doesn't work either.

I'm disappointed. I've got a corsair c70, rm750, h100i, keyboard.. I think I might just throw my cooler in the dumpster and buy a different brand.

Solution

There's the problem. Corsair's Link software doesn't run well/ isn't fully compatible with Win 8x. Check the Corsair Forums, there are a couple tricks there to get it functional to a point though if I remember correctly nothing to help use the LED properly.

i have the 4.6 beta corsair link that is supposed to work with windows 8. it works, but it wont show the H100i... which is my problem.. corsair forums say the regetic 0c04 thing, but I tried that and that's why I posted here.
There's youtube videos fixing it, but I guess those people have magic computers.
