my laptop has Kkn ram installed. one 2g and one 4g. should I upgrade ram?

You will be pretty fine with the installed memory.
Memory is supplied by some local vendors and yours is probably from some of them.
You do not need to upgrade the memory now.
And for build quality, I can say that it will atleast last for 3-4 years.
You should only upgrade the memory if you need more RAM, for doing memory intensive tasks like 2k video editing etc.
