Hi guys,

I successfully updated my BISO to the latest version. I have a 3 monitor setup, 2 are connected to my graphics card and one to my motherboard DVI. The 3rd screen that is connected to the MB won’t show up now, it stays in power saving mode.

I have checked the BISO again, played with power settings and it didn’t fix the issue. I also loaded the default BIOS settings with same results. I restarted my rig several times, even pulled it out of the wall for a while. I also reconnected the screen cables.

What should I do next?

Thanks!

Why did you update your bios in the first place if everything was working

Some board default to shutting off the onboard video when a normal card is detected, can you please try to make sure you have it forced to Enable or similar and not Auto. Flashing the bios may have set this to a default.

I thought it would be a good idea before starting overclocking to check if there is any new settings available since 2012 bios version.

Please check Peripherals - > Internal Graphics -> Enable(instead of Auto)

See if this works.

Also check Windows device manager to ensure the onboard video is in fact showing up.

Haha:)  Internal graphics were set to Auto. After I put it to Enabled the 3rd monitor started working again. Thanks!

It was just a default setting change. May have been setup as part of the new bios to make life more easy for users not running the onboard. It would enable when the dedicated card is removed, now it will always be on.

Enjoy and happy overclocking!
