Dont get that card if you intend to SLI, you would be better off with a 780 ti instead. Quad SLI doesnt work so well.

@leonell12
I think this would be a good choice
CORSAIR AX860 ATX POWER SUPPLY - 860 WATT 80 PLUS PLATINUM CERTIFIED 860W FULLY-MODULAR PSU

@robcrezz I intend to spend max 1000 $ for gpu and my question is: is it better to SLI or get a single card to get the best performance?

yes that's a very nice choice for a psu, it is always better to get a single card not sli, this way you save power, heat and generally less hassle with drivers...if you're planning on getting two cards right now, i would just recommend getting a single 780 right now, yes more vram might be a benefit with having sli configurations, but you can get equal amounts of vram on single cards as well

EDIT: generally less hassle with drivers, i mean alot of games will run better on single cards than sli configurations, you really never want to go that route unless you absolutely have to max out crazy resolutions, you should get a single gtx 780

With this said I'll get a single card because I will use only one monitor @1080p (and maybe 4k later) and because of the game aspect. The problem with 780 that makes me wonder is that it has 386 bit interface and 3GB Vram and on the other side 760 has 512 bit and 4GB Vram. so why get a more expensive card when a another less expensive one has better specs?

Firstly because the card is actually 2x 760s in SLI, you dont actually get 4gb usable Vram, you only get 2gb (per gpu) as its not shared.

Single card at 1080p the 760 MARS will be a little better than a 780 Ti, but if you plan to SLI then 2x 780 Ti would be better.
