What is the difference b/w 32 and 64 bit windows 7. I mean the performance. When I see system requirements of Far Cry 3 the recommended is 64 bit one. Does 64 bit OS show more performance than the 32 bit OS?

One more thing. Can I install Windows 7 64 bit in my computer?
My specs are,
CPU : i3 530
GPU : GTX 660 2GB DDR5
MB : DH55TC
RAM : 4GB

Solution
64-Bit does have a small performance penalty over 32-bit, when running 32-bit apps, but this is a small trade off for being able to use the full 4GB of ram.

Yes you can install win 64 bit on your PC. The way I look at it is that 64 bit can support more than 4gb RAM, 32 bit only utilizes 4gb max RAM. This means 64 bit has snappier multitasking (provided you have more than 4gb RAM) as it handles large amounts of RAM more efficiently. Also programs that are designed for 64 bit windows will only run on 64 bit while they won't work on 32 bit, 64 bit can also run 32 bit programs.
