Since installing VIPRE, I have experienced regular unscheduled shutdowns. (the critical error of unexpected shutdown shows on the event screen). I tried to use the temp ap to see if that is a problem. When I do the scans manually, it does not happen. Suggestions?

My mother had problems with Vipre , I switched her to Bitdefender , and haven't heard from her since.
